You are not entirely alone in the fight to save earth.

Master Chief

Master Chief A.K.A You

O.K so technically you're a Cyborg not a Human but hey, a Cyborgs just a Human in a suit. Anyway.... You are known only by your rank, Master - Chief. Yo are a Spartan II Super Soldier. You wear a suit of MJOLNIR battle armour which has a built in shield system and comes in any colour as long as its green. In this suit you are almost invincible (apart from being run down) Cortana, the AI at the heart of the Human force, can be uploaded into your battle suit. With her you can be given vital battleground tatics and are able to hack into the Covenant battlenet, whilst in combat.

The Marines

The Marines

Your main allies. You fight beside them (or against them if you're anything like me) and they do there best to help. They will ride in a Warthog if you are driving it and likewise with tanks. Unfortunatly they're not that tough and there life span is well... 20 mins? They are better than nothing however especially on legendary when they give that extra bit of help and a great feel of comfort or more like "Run and hide let the Marines die". I also like them however as they add humour to the battles, but do tend to show off. They're the best of the best - but they're only Human.

Cortana

Cortana

For all the people that thought Master Chief had someone in his head... they were right. Cortana is a holograpic person who can be uploaded into almost anything. She gives Master Chief help, opens doors, controls parts of hs suit at times. She can hack into 'The Covenant Battlenet' a system with all Covenant battle plans and other such things, and use them to your advantage. She is strored in a small chip in your head for the majority of the game. In a way you could say she's the brains of the operation.
